Haringey campaigners protest the sell off of St Ann’s Hospital land

Health campaigners are urging local Haringey residents to join their protest against plans to sell St Ann’s Hospital land to property developers.

BEH MHT is Barnet Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust who hold this NHS land. Plans to change the usage of St Ann’s Hospital site and sell off parts of the land for housing can be viewed by clicking here.

On the 16th July Haringey Council held a Public planning consultation on BEH MHTs massive plans to change the usage of St Ann’s Hospital site and sell off 2/3rds of it for housing.   Campaigners say that this being done without checking what hospital services are needed in the area.  Protesters gathered outside the meeting at Chestnuts Community Centre.  Click here to read the Haringey Independent article.
